Krista’s Bio.

Athletic Director

Krista Bensheimer is our Athletic Director and Physical Education Instructor. Krista holds a bachelor’s degree from Wisconsin Lutheran College and a Master of Arts in Communication from UW-Milwaukee.  She is currently working on her Doctorate in Christian Education through Covenant Theological Seminary.  

She taught our 7th & 8th grades from 2002-2006, and ran our preschool programs from 2014-2018. She loves living out her calling to invest in the lives of children; be it homeschooling her own children, teaching Sunday school, leading mission trips, directing Vacation Bible Schools,  facilitating small groups, instructing piano students, and of course, playing sports with anyone who shows interest. 

Krista played collegiate volleyball and softball at Wisconsin Lutheran and has been coaching club and school teams ever since. She is passionate about instilling character traits of sportsmanship, self- discipline, dedication, and confidence into her players.   

Krista and her husband Ryan have four sons, Ty, Will, Kade, and Reid. Together they love to rock climb, ski, fish, hunt, travel, and do just about anything outdoors. Although Krista has a wide range of amazing life experiences, watching her boys grow in the Lord through their God-given talents and passions has been her favorite.
