Rick’s Bio.

Junior High Math Teacher

Rick will be joining us this year as our junior high math teacher!

Rick is married to Sue, and together they have five children. Rick attended Rice High-school in Chicago. He has two degrees from University Wisconsin- Whitewater in Special Ed and Physical Education. He has taught at Agape School the last eight years as a teacher tutor and physical education teacher.

Rick has attended Mt. Zion Church on and off for the past 33 years! He has taught Kindergarten, as well as 6th, 7th, and 8th grade at Mt. Zion. He has helped with Awanas, coached basketball, and was a teacher at VBS. This summer, he has spent time tutoring students in math.

Rick played college basketball as well as semi-pro baseball. His hobbies include chess, fly-fishing, gardening, and fantasy baseball.

He has wanted to be a teacher and coach for has long as he can remember. He is eagerly looking forward to his year of teaching at Mt. Zion, knowing God will equip and prepare him for the exciting challenge.
